This type of ceramic rural pan has an in-built water seal of 20mm to be fixed on squatting slab. The shape of the slab could be either round or rectangular. The squatting slab is placed over a pit dug in the ground. The size of the pit should be such that it takes minimum 3 years to get filled up.
For privacy and protection, a temporary super structure is recommended since the super strucure has to be shifted over and over. |
